AEO Lead

Answerlayer is hiring an AEO Lead to design how organizations become citable in answer engines.

This position is 100% remote for candidates in the United States. Hours are 40 per week with overlap for Pacific Time standups.

Responsibilities:

• Build answer-engine optimization playbooks covering Q&A architecture, citations, and entity pages
• Evaluate AI-search answers for faithfulness against canonical facts
• Work with content strategy to produce extractable, source-worthy explanations

Requirements:

• 60 months of SEO, content strategy, or AEO experience
• Evidence of shipping measurement, not just thought leadership
• Postgraduate degree or equivalent practical experience
