Technical SEO Engineer

Schemaforge is hiring a Technical SEO Engineer to own crawl, render, and structured data quality for a large publishing platform.

This is a full-time on-site role at our Austin, Texas office. Working hours are 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose indexing, JavaScript rendering, and canonicalization issues
• Ship Schema.org markup and validate it against Google rich-result requirements
• Build internal tools that prevent JobPosting and other types from appearing on list pages
• Partner with SRE on log-file analysis and crawl-budget controls

Requirements:

• 36 months of technical SEO or search engineering experience
• Comfort with HTML, HTTP, sitemaps, and JSON-LD
• Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent experience
